Icarus was too young and too enthusiastic about flying. He got excited by the thrill of flying and get carried away by the feeling of freedom and started flying higher.
When we fall in love for the first time we can't control ourselves. The thrill of love, rush of blood lead us to do foolish things. We want to kiss the sun, dive in low to the sea.
But in the end, we will have the same end as icarus if we keep going towards sun. Wax wings will melt and we will drown.
